Scott Pidcock is principal of The Pidcock Company which was founded in 1924 and continues to locate its offices in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The 50-person land planning, civil engineering and architectural firm specializes in consulting and planning for institutional, corporate and commercial real estate development. Scott and his wife Gillian Pidcock currently reside in Allentown, Pennsylvania where they raised their three children, Rachel, Stuart and Lucy.
Mr. Pidcock was appointed in May 2017 by the Lehigh County Court to and currently serves on the Harry C. Trexler Trust as a Trustee. Prior board service includes with the Yale University Divinity School Board of Advisors, with the Allentown Art Museum Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, with the Cedar Crest College Board of Trustees, with the Wildlands Conservancy, with the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of Moravian Academy, with the Baum School of Art Board of Trustees, and with the Rider-Pool Foundation. Mr. Pidcock also served as a member of the American Bank Board of Directors. Currently a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, Mr. Pidcock has served on the church’s Board of Session.
Mr. Pidcock was educated in the Allentown public schools following which he attended and graduated with honors from Lafayette College in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He earned graduate degrees in 1978 from the University of Virginia with a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Master of Arts in Architecture. Subsequent to several years of professional employment in Philadelphia, Mr. Pidcock attended Yale University on a post- graduate fellowship (formerly a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship) where in 1982 he earned a Master of Arts in Religion degree in Philosophical theology.
